Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island (Neighborhood) network providers are required to complete an annual training. The provider training offers an overview of Neighborhood, including its plans, policies and procedures for providers. In addition, the training includes specific education for providers who serve dual eligible members and general topics including, but not limited to the following:
- Member Enrollment and Eligibility
- Covered Services, Benefit and Services (including carved-out), policies and procedures
- Provider Rights and Responsibilities pertaining to:
- Complaints, Grievances, and Appeals Procedures and Timelines
- ADA Compliance, Accessibility and Accommodations
- Cultural Competency
Neighborhood will be offering a live provider training webinar series this fall. This session is new for Fall 2025 and introduces providers to all lines of business, including our new products: Neighborhood INTEGRITY for Duals and Neighborhood Dual CONNECT.
Important:
- Completing this training is mandatory, even if you have attested already this year.
- An authorized representative from each provider organization must complete this training and formally attest to having done so.
- By attesting, the representative agrees to review Neighborhood’s training and educate all providers in their organization who provide direct member care.
- Only one authorized representative per provider group is required to attest.
- Please note that your organization may be asked to produce a list of practitioners who received the training, so this documentation should be kept on file.
- If you have viewed an online training or attended a webinar, but have not attested, it will not be marked as completed.
- All contracted providers must complete and attest to the training this fall, no matter what population they serve.
