INTEGRITY (MMP) Behavioral Claim Payment Update

Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island (Neighborhood) is aware that some INTEGRITY (MMP) payments for behavioral health providers are currently in a pended state due to a system issue.

Neighborhood is implementing a fix on Friday, October 10, 2025 with first payments scheduled to be released for the October 15 pay cycle. Please note that payments may be released in a staggered manner over the next several weeks as this issue is resolved.

No action is required from providers at this time.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure all impacted payments are processed as quickly as possible.

Important Update for Members Enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid

Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island is introducing two new product offerings, beginning January 1, 2026: Neighborhood INTEGRITY for Duals (HMO D-SNP) and Neighborhood Dual CONNECT (HMO D-SNP). These new plans are being introduced as the current Medicare-Medicaid Plan (MMP), Neighborhood INTEGRITY, will be sunset as of December 31, 2025, as required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Neighborhood is here to support you in this transition and will be offering a live provider training webinar series this fall. This training is new for Fall 2025 and offers an overview of Neighborhood, including its plans, policies and procedures for providers.

Training Dates

Click on the date that best fits your schedule to register. Completing this training is mandatory, even if you have attested already this year.

The training will also be available online starting in October, so you can complete it at your convenience.

This training serves as the mandatory training for all lines of business. All contracted providers must complete and attest to the training this fall, no matter what population they serve.

Behavioral Health Services Now Managed In-House at Neighborhood

Behavioral Health – Effective for dates of service on or after September 1, 2025, Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island (Neighborhood) is now directly managing all behavioral health services for its members in all lines of business. Optum, the previous behavioral health vendor, will continue supporting behavioral health services for all dates of service through August 31, 2025. For more information and FAQs, please click here.

Important Reminders

Provider Screening Requirement – Make sure you complete and maintain Rhode Island Medicaid screening as mandated by the 21st Century Cures Act. It is the provider’s responsibility to ensure their individual and group NPI screening status does not expire, which could impact payment and/or participation status with Neighborhood. For instructions on how to maintain compliance, please refer to our screening and enrollment guidelines.
