Updated Gateway for Clearinghouse Users

As part of Neighborhood’s commitment to better support our providers with operational efficiencies, Neighborhood has initiated an optimization to a component of our core administrative and claims processing system (HealthRules) for our Medicaid line of business that will result in routing claims through a  more standard gateway for electronic claim submissions.

Beginning in January 2022, providers who submit their claims to Neighborhood electronically will receive more complete information on their response files (i.e., 277 file) from the gateway utilized by your clearinghouses or for submissions sent directly to Neighborhood.  Providers will not have to do anything different—please continue to submit your claims electronically, to the same clearinghouse or as a direct submitter.
