In the wake of Hurricane Maria, Dr. Francisco “Paco” Trilla found himself stranded in Puerto Rico. What he saw there moved him to action – at first, in the immediate aftermath of the storm, and then again, weeks later, when he returned for an extended visit.
Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island was proud to support Paco in his efforts to bring life-saving care to many of Puerto Rico’s most vulnerable people. It’s an extension of the work he and the entire Neighborhood team do every day on the behalf of our fellow Rhode Islanders.
