2026 Open Enrollment FAQs
The federal government has made some changes that may impact premiums and coverage options. Neighborhood is here to help you understand how this may affect your health plan. To learn more, visit the Healthsource RI “Stay Connected” page.

Remember, it is important to complete your enrollment during open enrollment, which is from November 1, 2025 – January 31, 2026.
If you complete your enrollment before December 31, 2025, your new coverage will take effect on January 1, 2026. If you miss that deadline, you can enroll by January 31, 2026 and your coverage will be active on February 1, 2026.
Pay your premium bill from HealthSource RI by December 23, 2025, and you will be enrolled in your current Neighborhood plan for 2026 coverage starting January 1, 2026. To be eligible for 2026 plans, your account balance must be current.
Federally funded enhanced premium tax credits (EPTCs) will expire at the end of 2025. This means that you may see a rise in your monthly premium cost. Learn more about EPTCs here.
There may still be options available to lower what you pay each month.
1. You may be eligible for Advanced Premium Tax Credits (APTCs) through HealthSource RI. Contact Neighborhood’s friendly and helpful Sales team here to see if you qualify.
2. You may qualify for a different Neighborhood plan that fits your budget and health needs. Contact Neighborhood’s friendly and helpful Sales team here to see which plan is the right fit for you.
