Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island Unveils New Logo

New Mark Reflects the Evolution of the Company and its Ongoing Commitment to Members

February 16, 2016 (Providence, RI)
– Reaffirming its 23-year commitment to making sure all Rhode Islanders have access to affordable and high-quality health care, Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island today unveiled a new logo along with an updated slogan: “New Plans. New Look. Same Heart.”

Neighborhood’s refreshed look comes at a time of exciting growth for the company.  Providence Business News in 2015 named Neighborhood the fastest growing large company in the region in 2015. Nearly one out of every six Rhode Islanders is now a Neighborhood member.

The new logo calls to mind the image of a heart formed by embracing arms: the many, coming together as a supportive whole. Each half of the heart takes the shape of a wave, reflecting Neighborhood’s pride in calling the Ocean State home.

“The new logo reminds us why we come to work every day,” explained Peter Marino, Neighborhood’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “Neighborhood’s employees truly care for each and every one of our members.  We are a ‘member-first’ organization and we are confident that our new logo reflects Neighborhood and the mission we continue to pursue.”

“For us, this new logo is an interpretation of who we are, what we do, and where we are headed,” Marino said.
