Pre-natal (Bright Start) The goal of the Bright Start Care Management program is to improve birth outcomes of children born to members by increasing the frequency and quality of prenatal care to high risk and minority populations. A Health Risk Assessment (HRA) is used to stratify individuals into risk levels. Participants include any high or moderate risk pregnant member as identified by a health risk assessment tool, physician referral or member self referral. Participants include those with medical and/or social risks. The Bright Start program can perform interventions such as:
