Preventive Health Guidelines
Preventive care guidelines can tell you how often you and your children should see a doctor, and what kinds of tests are recommended for your age.

Vaccinations (Immunizations)
Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island covers vaccinations for children and adults as appropriate to the member''s age. They are important in keeping you healthy. Childhood vaccinations can help fight the flu, chicken pox, measles, and many more illnesses.

Adults also need immunizations to fight dangerous illnesses and infections. These vaccines are especially important if you are pregnant, have a medical condition such as asthma or diabetes, or are over 50. Speak to your doctor about getting vaccines.
