Women’s Health Cervical Cancer Screening (Pap Smear) The goal is to increase the rate of women age 21-64 receiving a Pap smear every year. HEDIS ® 2003 results show that 82% of women 21-64 years old received one or more Pap tests during the three year period 2000 – 2002. Neighborhood’s rate ranked above the NCQA Medicaid Accreditation’s 90th percentile. Note this measure was rotated in HEDIS® 2004. - Chlamydia Screening in Women:
HEDIS® 2004 results show that 43% of women age 16 through 25 years, identified as sexually active, had at least one test for chlamydia during 2003. Neighborhood’s rate ranked above the HEDIS® 2003 National Medicaid 50th percentile in the ages 16-20 category and the 21-26 category.
